I love facial hair. But this comic is pretty ridiculous. We drew some inspiration, if I recall correctly, from the World Beard Championships, which if you’ve never checked it out is worth a few minutes of your time.
My favorite part of this comic is still Conquest’s line in panel 2. Spot-on Conquest.

Looking back, Death’s beard in panel two looks really, REALLY awkward. Like myself, perhaps he’s just one of those guys who doesn’t take well to facial hair.
