There’s a kernel of truth to this one. A lot of people do seem to refer to me as “good sir” without any sort of prompting (although I suppose in some cases I might be polite and accommodating, but hopefully that’s just how I always am?). It doesn’t happen often, that is, it’s not like people call me “good sir” exclusively. But it happens often enough that I’m sure it’s above the baseline rate for males my age.
