The Old Groaner arc happened to tie into Halloween week, and we decided to do an unrelated costume strip for the day itself. If we had fans, it would have qualified as fanservice. For those wondering who a given individual is, from left to right:

Joe as Rorschach, from the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons comic Watchmen,
Dave as Dr. McNinja, from the webcomic The Adventures of Dr. McNinja,
Death as Kenny, from South Park,
Conquest as Arthur, King of the Britons, from Monty Python and the Holy Grail,
War as a Big Daddy, from the video game Bioshock,
Ted and Pestilence as The Prince and a Katamari, from the video game series Katamari Damacy.

Actually, Joe and I really did go as Rorschach and Dr. McNinja for Halloween that year! Joe’s costume was much more impressive (I just scrounged a lab coat and put a t-shirt on my head…)
