We’ve never completely answered the question of why an immortal horseman like Pestilence is enrolled in a primary school program. I like to assume it’s one of those unspoken rules of the universe you write in–you have guys like Hellboy walking around, and eventually people start to take it for granted. Maybe Pestilence has been around for long enough, in Little League and stuff, that people just know him as “that weird green round kid.”

Oh, and for the record, there’s no way Chloe’s going to try anything on Ms. Paroo. Not under the watchful eye of Colonel Roosevelt.
