For every great ad, there are a hundred bad ones that die on the cutting room floor. And, perhaps, half a dozen that are awesome but are killed by the client along the development process. We’ll let you try and figure out which category these lost gems fall into.
Also, I feel obliged to comment on the enormous amount of advertising PepsiCo was running during the game yesterday. It seemed like every other ad was for Doritos or Pepsi Max. I suppose they have the budget for it, considering this is likely one of the biggest weekends of the year for moving their products, but it truly seemed off the charts. If I’d known they would have done that I’d have thrown some appropriate riffs into the mix for today’s comic.

Pepsi is the official soft-drink/sponsor of the NFL; so I’m sure they get special advertising rights during football games?
