Good times. Well, good times for me.

As a liberal arts guy (Virginia has a bit of an in-joke that the College of Arts and Sciences is jokingly referred to as the College of Arts and Crafts) I always felt bad at how much stress I had even during my hardest semesters, and how much stress the engineers and a-school students had during what was a normal semester for them. Perhaps the dismemberment suffered in this strip by the A-school student is hyperbole, but not much else is!

Actually, the easiest book to write a paper on, in my opinion isn’t Heart of Darkness, but its doppelganger Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. Near the end of my college career I could practically write a paper on that book without even consulting it, I knew it so well.

Good times… harumph…

I’ve seen models brought to reviews with wet glue, I’ve knicked many a knuckle on the belt sander, and I’ve taken ever-so-tiny chunks out of the tip of my finger on the table saw. I also shot through my index finger with a nail gun in an architecture-related activity, but I don’t think that counts, as it wasn’t during the school year.
