This was a timely little joke–the Police were playing a concert in Charlottesville (or maybe had played a concert? I can’t recall the precise timing) at the newly-constructed John Paul Jones Arena. Also, we’d been playing a lot of Guitar Hero II, and…the rest is history.

I wish I could think of more sight gags, honestly. There’s something beautiful and elegant about a wordless comic that can still convey a very particular, layered gag. Not that this one is particularly wordless or layered, but you get the idea, right?
