Fun as it would be to see some of these sports, I think the Olympics are about as extreme as they should be–have you seen Skeleton? Skeleton is, top to bottom, perhaps the most awesome sport at the games. The name, the concept, everything. When you learn that it’s very similar to a sport called “Cresta,” be glad that they picked the manlier, less toothpaste-sounding name.

Abominable Charles Christopher cured me of that mad obsession. Yetis are like gorillas; if you don’t threaten their best friends, they are giant, smelly teddy bears.
