When I had this idea I immediately loved it. It was simple, and so very Pestilence. It probably appealed to me mostly because I did stuff similar to this as a kid–probably not as melodramatic as this.

Kind of a shame–there’s a nice art detail Joe did in panel 3 that’s covered by one of my silly text bubbles. Pestilence is using a third pseudopod to hold Gustave.
