The Worst
Honestly, I’m not even sure anymore. I think the original premise was Ted sets his clock forward to the date of the Mayan apocalypse (and let me make it clear I think that stuff is total bull and I’m ashamed to have even referenced it for laughs). When he does so, the Horsemen pick up on it and arrive, under the impression it’s showtime (hence the carnage in the next few strips). It must have made sense at one time but it sure as hell doesn’t to me now.
