Yes, skeet week got a little out of hand and stopped making sense…perhaps we should have pulled the plug sooner rather than later. But we pressed on and, on the whole, it wasn’t worse than the rest of what the Cavalier Daily was publishing.
We submitted the strip, and when we checked the comic the next day, it wasn’t there. Why? Not because the material was offensive…because the management didn’t get the joke.
I’m still irate about this years later.
