Poor Voltorb. Constantly sacrificing itself in the line of duty, rent asunder by such senseless violence, all as part of a game enjoyed by children. It’s got to start wearing on the poor things. The angry face they always wear becomes a mask, a way of facing a cruel and uncaring world that only chooses you to go into battle when they need a water-type one-shotted.
Also, Wikipedia mentions that Voltorb is often confused with a Poke ball, but is ten times the size of one. What the hell are these trainers smoking?
Sometimes, I feel like a Pokeball trapped in a Voltorb’s body.
I think they mean in the original Red/Blue in the power plant.
There were a bunch of those Pokeballs that contained items… EXCEPT SOME OF THEM HAD VOLTORBS IN THEM
