I suspect that most gamers with any background in pen-and-paper RPGs feel a little awkward if a psychologist asks them to role-play a situation. Probably due to the fear that one thing will lead to another and someone will put on their robe and wizard hat.

Heh, I can see it now. “I’d like to role-play through this situation with you.” “Great! Good thing I brought my dice bag!”
